Enter an Artwork 

REGISTRATION PROCESS

There are two options to enter an Artwork in the Mirboo North Art Show:​

• Complete our ONLINE ARTWORK ENTRY FORM (preferred)

• Download our Registration Form and return by post.

REGISTRATION FEES 

​

• 2D and 3D: $10 per item

• YOUNG ARTISTS: $2 per item

• CERAMICS: $3 per item

 

Fees are payable:

• On delivery of Artwork to Mirboo North Art Show  (credit card or cash) or

• Can be paid by Direct Debit in advance to Acc: MN Primary School, BSB:633 000 and Acc No: 140 875 881.

Please include in your Reference: Surname, initial and words Entry Fee (e.g. Smith, P - Entry Fee).

As part of entry fee, Exhibitors will receive one free entry to the Mirboo North Art Show. Additional tickets may be purchased at the door.

No refunds on entry fees will be given on exhibits not delivered for exhibition.

ARTWORK DELIVERY OPTIONS

​All artwork must be delivered to either:

• Mirboo North Shire Hall (between 9:30am and 6:00pm, on Wednesday 27 July 2022); or 

• Morwell Art & Framing (during opening hours until Tuesday 26 July 2022 at 49 Chickerell Street, Morwell)

 

No Artwork will be accepted after these dates and times.

ARTWORK COLLECTION OPTIONS

Unsold work must be collected from either:

• Mirboo North Shire Hall (between 5pm and 7pm on Sunday 31 July 2022); or

• Morwell Art & Framing (from Monday 1 August 2022)

The Art Show committee cannot provide secure storage for exhibits that are not collected as outlined above.  Under no circumstances will early pick up of Artwork be allowed.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

• An exhibit is an individual item or group of items deemed as inseparable with one title and one price.

• The different categories for judging are those listed under Prize categories. The organising committee reserves the right to amend these without notice.

• Work will be displayed at the discretion of the organisers.  All items entered will be judged but the organisers reserve the right not to exhibit items, in which case fees will not be refunded.

• In the event of a disagreement of the price, the nominated price on the entry form shall be ruled as correct.

• All work must be delivered ready for sale with artist name, title of work and contact number securely placed on back or underside of work. If you wish packaging to be retained for pick up, it must be labelled.

• 2D work to be delivered, mounted and ready for hanging e.g. framed and with hanging wire / cord.

• Care will be taken of all Artworks however no responsibility will be accepted for exhibits.  Exhibitors will be responsible for insurance of work in transit to and from the place of exhibition, in storage and whilst on exhibition.

• Work entered previously cannot be entered again.

• All work exhibited must be for genuine sale with only work from Young Artists able to be for exhibition only.

• 25% commission will be charged on all exhibits sold.

• Payment for artwork sold will be an electronic funds transfer within 30 days of sale.
